This was as hundreds of the varsity students were stopped from gaining entrance into the school for failing to wear face masks. Others were scolded for not wearing it properly within the university premises. When the Guardian visited the University Monday morning, it was discovered that majority of the students were reluctant to comply with the Covid-19 precautionary measures. Many of them were also seen clustering around within the university environs, for one purpose or the other, without observing the Covid-19 protocols. “I think on our part as the school management, we have done all the necessary things to protect our students and the entire IMSU community from this dreaded pandemic,” Njokuobi said.
